Michelle Franco returns to the roster for her second season with the Women of Troy.
2007-08 FRESHMAN SEASON
Franco joined the Trojan roster as a walk-on in 2007... Appeared in two games... Had one rebound against Washington State.
HIGH SCHOOL
Franco played four year of varsity basketball at Bishop Amat Memorial High in La Puente, Calif.... Named to Del Rey League First Team as a senior, second team as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore... Team won three CIF championships and two state championship... Went undefeated in 2004-05 season... A McDonald's All-American nominee and Wendy's High School Heisman recipient... Also received 2007 State Sportsmanship Award... An honor student.
PERSONAL
Michelle Renee Franco was born on March 3, 1989 in Whittier, Calif... The daughter of Albert Franco and Sylvia Vargas, she has five siblings, Allene, James, Michael, Lauren and Rebecca... Enjoys writing and performing poetry, reading and listening to music in her free time... Has always wanted to bungee jump... Would like to become a professor or a lawyer... Majoring in American studies and psychology.
